And she had always been okay with it. She would rather be single the rest of her life then end up as miserable as her parents. So when a man rescued her after she was drugged in a night club, she never expected to start a relationship with him.

But one chance meeting changes it all. Chyna is offered a once in a lifetime opportunity that could sky rocket her career, and she is forced to make a decision that could ruin everything.

The wedding she had evaded at all costs. But no matter what she does, Lexi can't seem to escape her past with Jack. But does she really want to?

Despite the explosive chemistry between Lexi and Ramsey, she is skeptical about trusting him after everything that has happened. When things are amiss with him, she starts questioning his motives. Can Ramsey be the one to remove Jack from Lexi's life permanently or should she move on with her blossoming new life

EVERY MARRIAGE HAS ITS SURPRISES...

Gray was beautiful before, four years ago when he asked Isabel to wed him in a marriage of convenience. Now there are no words to describe him. Does she dare explore the places inside herself that Gray demands to possess? Does she trust him enough to bare herself completely to a lover who is an irresistible stranger?

Beautiful Player (Beautiful Bastard #3)

A bombshell bookworm. A chronic Casanova. And a lesson in chemistry too scandalous for school.

When Hanna Bergstrom receives a lecture from her overprotective brother about neglecting her social life and burying herself in grad school, she’s determined to tackle his implied assignment: get out, make friends, start dating. And who better to turn her into the sultry siren every man wants than her brother’s gorgeous best friend, Will Sumner, venture capitalist and unapologetic playboy?

Will takes risks for a living, but he’s skeptical about this challenge of Hanna’s…until the wild night his innocently seductive pupil tempts him into bed- and teaches him a thing or two about being with a woman he can’t forget. Now that Hanna’s discovered the power of her own sex appeal, it’s up to Will to prove he’s the only man she’ll ever need

My Review :

Characters - Will Sumner and Hannah Bergstrom

Genre - Romance

Author - Christina Lauren

Rating - 5 Books

I love Will,he is so sexy, witty and smart. Hannah is so cool. It's a story of friend to lovers relationship. They both like each other but Hannah was bothered to Will's history with women, she called him a player. Will likes Hannah too but he thought that he is just a friend to Hannah.

I like the happy ending,it's so cool.

Just when Chloe’s career starts to take off, Bennett wishes it would all slow down long enough to spend a wild night alone with his girlfriend. But after he refuses to take no for an answer, Chloe and Bennett find themselves with two plane tickets, one French Villa, and a surprising conversation that, predictably, leaves them wrestling under the covers.

My Review :

Character - Bennett Ryan and Chloe Mills

Genre - Contemporary Romance

Author - Christina Lauren

Rating - 3 Books

I love Bennett and Chloe but I'm kinda disappointed with this book because it's more about flashback of what happened, disaster events and the story is so short.

Friends with Benefits SUCKS (At Least for Women)

A lot of women have settled for being in friends with benefits relationships with men. The problem is that there aren't many benefits; at least not for women! Sex is the only benefit, but that isn't all that a woman needs. That isn't even half of what a woman needs in a happy relationship.

This brief, to-the-point eBook breaks down the reasons why a friends with benefits relationship SUCKS for women and how you can break out of that cycle. Questions that it answers:

* Why does a woman's feelings grow stronger in a FWB relationship, while his stays the same or lessen?

* Why do I keep attracting "losers" into my life?

* Why don't guys take me seriously?

* Why do so-called decent men like strippers and bad girls?

* What makes a man fall in love?

These are just a few of the aha moments you'll have when you read this brief, simple eBook. You'll finish it in one sitting, get up feeling like a brand new woman and begin your journey to true self-love. (Oh, and don't forget to text your FWB and tell him that it's SO OVER.)

You deserve better.

My Review

Author - Lyn Gilliard

Rating - 5 Books

Source - Author in Exchange for an honest review

I like this book so much, I learned a lot on how to respect ourself, how to move on and how to react on our first date.

It's true that most guy like woman who is outspoken and can carry herself well but most of the times guys did not value their relationship or guy did not take their relationship seriously.

My favorite part of this book is teaching us women how to value our self, how to become confident and be outspoken, say no if you don't like, in short just be yourself, women don't need to always please men.

It's a must read book and I will surely suggest it to my friends. Great Job Lynn.

Are there any book to movie adaptations where you think the movie is better than the book?

For me, none. It's more detailed in books compare to movies because in movies they usually summarize it and they just get the important events and beautiful scene as well.

For example Harry Potter and Twillight, if you read the book first, you will notice that some scenes are missing.

Entwined with You (Crossfire #3)

From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside–so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat.

No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.

Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession…

Reflected in You (Crossfire #2)

Gideon Cross. As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn't stay away. I didn't want to. He was my addiction... my every desire... mine.

My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful... except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.

We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession

In Gabriel's Rapture, the brilliant sequel to the wildly successful debut novel, Gabriel's Inferno, Sylvain Reynard weaves an exquisite love story that will touch the reader's mind, body, and soul, forever

My Review : Slammed (Slammed #1)

Not long after an intense, heart-stopping first date, they are slammed to the core when a shocking revelation forces their new relationship to a sudden halt. Daily interactions become impossibly painful as they struggle to find a balance between the feelings that pull them together, and the secret that keeps them apart.

My Review:

Characters : Will Cooper and Layken

Author : Colleen Hoover

Rating : 5 Books

Genre : Contemporary Romance

Colleen Hoover never fails me, it's a well written story, so touching. It tackles the love to our family and setting priorities in life. Will is willing to sacrifice his love for Layken because he have a big responsibility to his younger brother. Even in our young age we can be responsible and we can go through any trials in life.

I was slammed with the story, super amazing. Hats off to Ms Hoover. This is truly one great read that I will surely recommend to my friends.

Bared to You (Crossfire #1)

He was beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white-hot. I was drawn to him as I’d never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily…

Gideon knew. He had demons of his own. And we would become the mirrors that reflected each other’s most private wounds…and desires. The bonds of his love transformed me, even as i prayed that the torment of our pasts didn't tear us apart...

My Review : A Vengeful Affair

Rich people get away with murder every day, but Vivian Foster intends to make billionaire Javier Rivera pay for what he did to her best friend—and how better to destroy a money-grubbing bastard than to sabotage the merger that means everything to him.

Javier Rivera would never hurt a woman much less kill one. But when he catches a gorgeous corporate spy in his office, he knows he can’t let her go—not when even a hint of scandal could ruin his career. Until the merger is signed, he’ll keep her close, even if he has to shackle her to his wrist. Literally.

But the closer Javier gets to Vivian, the more he wants her, and the more time she spends with him, the less she believes he could ever be a killer. Now Vivian and Javier have to discover the truth…and Vivian has to win the trust of her worst enemy.

My Review :

Characters - Javier Rivera and Vivian Foster

Genre - Contemporary Romance

Author - Carmen Falcone

Rating - 4 Books

Source - Purchased

Well written and fast paced story, I'm not into romantic suspense story but I like this one and I will try to read romantic suspense story again. I like their dialogue,it was so fun and it really fits with their characters.

On the first chapter you will sense their perfect chemistry, they both ignore it but the tension is there. Javier is very gentleman, though he knows that Vivian was attracted to him, he wants Vivian to come to him willingly.

This is highly recommended for Romantic Suspense readers.

Kudos to Carmen !

Seven Years to Sin (Historical #1)

Seven years ago, on the eve of her wedding, proper Lady Jessica Sheffield witnessed a licentious scene no innocent young miss could imagine. Shocked, yet strangely titillated, she’d held her silence regarding scandalous Alistair Caulfield, and walked down the aisle as expected. But through years of serene, unremarkable marriage, Caulfield’s image remained burned into her imagination, fueling very illicit dreams…

…the sweeter the reward

Alistair ran far from the temptation of the prim debutante with the fire of passion in her eyes–all the way to the West Indies. As a successful merchant, he has little in common with the rakehell youth she knew. But when newly widowed Jessica steps aboard his ship for a transatlantic passage, seven years’ worth of denied pleasures are held in check by nothing more than a few layers of silk–and the certainty that surrender will consume them both…

Do you post your book reviews as soon as you have completed the book or do you wait a few days?

I post my review after a day I finished reading it so that I will have enough time to reflect and choose a right words to describe what I really felt for a certain book.

Gabriel's Inferno (Gabriel's Inferno #1)

Enigmatic and sexy, Professor Gabriel Emerson is a well respected Dante specialist by day, but by night he devotes himself to an uninhibited life of pleasure. He uses his notorious good looks and sophisticated charm to gratify his every whim, but is secretly tortured by his dark past and consumed by the profound belief that he is beyond all hope of redemption. When the sweet and innocent Julia Mitchell enrolls as his graduate student, his attraction and mysterious connection to her not only jeopardizes his career, but sends him on a journey in which his past and his present collide. An intriguing and sinful exploration of seduction, forbidden love and redemption, "Gabriel's Inferno" is a captivating and wildly passionate tale of one man's escape from his own personal hell as he tries to earn the impossible...forgiveness and love

My Review :

Character - Gabriel Emerson and Julia Mitchell
Genre - Contemporary Romance
Author - Sylvian Reynard
Rating - 5 Books

At first I find it too long and boring at first but as I read it chapter by chapter, story was so interesting.Gabriel had a dark past but he turned into passionate and protective man while Julia is very innocent and hardworking.

Gabriel's Inferno was a beautiful, emotional and very romantic book. I can't believe that the author was a guy because the story was well written and full of love and emotions.

It's a combination of contemporary and historical romance and the characters blend well with the story. I can't wait to read the book 2.

I strongly recommend this book to my friends and other people who loves Romance Novel.

But is she strong enough to let go of the last thing holding her together?

Epilogue (The Dark Duet #3)

BOOK 3 OF THE DARK DUET

(The final version should have 15 Chapters + an epilogue)

I’m writing this because you begged. You know how I love the begging. In fact, you probably know too many things and know them far too well.

Who am I?

Well, that’s what I’m trying to figure out. I was a whore in my youth, a killer since my adolescence, and a monster as a man. I am the man who kidnapped Livvie. I am the man who held her in a dark room for weeks. But, most importantly, I am the man she loves.

She loves me. It’s quite sick, isn’t it?

Of course, there’s more to our story than can be surmised in a few short sentences, but I’m at a loss for justifying my behavior back then. I assume if you’re reading this, I don’t need to make those justifications. You’ve already made your own.

You’re reading this because you want to know about the rest of the story. You want to know what happened that warm summer night in September of 2010, the night I met Livvie at The Paseo. It was the night my life changed all over again.

It didn’t happen exactly as Livvie said. She’s been very kind to me in the retelling of our story. The truth is far more…complicated

Seduced in the Dark (The Dark Duet #2)

BOOK TWO OF THE DARK DUET

The exciting, titillating, and action-filled conclusion to Captive in the Dark.

What is the price of redemption?

Rescued from sexual slavery by a mysterious Pakistani officer, Caleb carries the weight of a debt that must be paid in blood.

The road has been long and fraught with uncertainty, but for Caleb and Livvie, it’s all coming to an end.

Can he surrender the woman he loves for the sake of vengeance?

Or will he make the ultimate sacrifice?

Quote:
It seemed to Caleb, the nature of human beings revolved around one empirical truth: we want what we cannot have. For Eve, it was the fruit of the forbidden tree. For Caleb, it was Livvie

Captive in the Dark (The Dark Duet 1)

Caleb is a man with a singular interest in revenge. Kidnapped as a young boy and sold into slavery by a power-hungry mobster, he has thought of nothing but vengeance. For twelve years he has immersed himself in the world of pleasure slaves searching for the one man he holds ultimately responsible. Finally, the architect of his suffering has emerged with a new identity, but not a new nature. If Caleb is to get close enough to strike, he must become the very thing he abhors and kidnap a beautiful girl to train her to be all that he once was.

Eighteen-year-old Olivia Ruiz has just woken up in a strange place. Blindfolded and bound, there is only a calm male voice to welcome her. His name is Caleb, though he demands to be called Master. Olivia is young, beautiful, naïve and willful to a fault. She has a dark sensuality that cannot be hidden or denied, though she tries to accomplish both. Although she is frightened by the strong, sadistic, and arrogant man who holds her prisoner, what keeps Olivia awake in the dark is her unwelcome attraction to him.

WARNING: This book contains very disturbing situations, dubious consent, strong language, and graphic violence
